Reno purchased this 5 acre parcel back in early 2023. After being on the market for many years Reno was able to negotiate a non contingent offer that allowed the seller to move on quickly from the property and gave us some flexibility when deciding on the best use for the property. After meeting with the town administration it was decided that a 40B multi family project would benifet the town. In early 2024 the Reno team presented to the select board 40 multi family units with a 25% of those units being designated affordable. At that meeting the board voted to approve the LIP application, more commonly know as a "Friendly 40B", and the project is now at the state level as of August 2024. The building will provide a suburban alternative to renters looking to get out of city living. Set in the single family dominant East Dracut, the building was designed with numerous roof lines and siding color changes to mimic a row of town homes rather than a large multi family property.
